The photos of how notorious armed robbers attacked a bullion van and eventually kill two policemen in Ibadan have been shared by TVCnews. From the pictures shared, it can be confirmed that the Armed robbers shot at the escort’s vehicle and shattered the windscreen of the vehicles. According to an eyewitness, the armed robbers ambushed the bullion van by shooting sporadically at it and into the air to scare people away from the scene of the operation.
This is sad. Attacking a bullion van and killing two policemen is a grave offense in Nigeria. It can only be hoped that the perpetrators of these dastardly acts are apprehended soon, and punished to serve as a lesson for people who are into or willing to commit such crimes in Nigeria. However, Nigeria should as well invest in intelligence gathering that will give accurate predictions of such occurrences in the future.
