Nigeria is blessed with so many amazing animals. We’ll be looking at four great animals that have been seen in Andoni local government area of Rivers State this year, and why the government should invest there.
1. Dolphin
According to reports from several sources, a dolphin was captured on 30th October 2021, by fishermen at Oyorokoto fishing settlement, Andoni, Rivers State.
It is a rare kind of fish in the area. So many rare water animals have been captured in that same fishing settlement.
2. Elephant
On 21st September 2021, an Elephant came out from the bushes in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, but it quickly went back into the forest. To watch the video Click Here.
It wasn’t the first time people in Andoni saw an elephant. In July 2021, an Elephant was also seen in the area.

3. Trygon Fish
Some days after an elephant was seen in September, this fish was captured by a fisherman in Andoni. They displayed the fish for people to see because fishermen in the area hardly come across this fish, this is because it partially buries itself beneath the sand of the river.

4. Blue Marlin
On 5th March 2021, a fisherman captured a Blue Marlin at Oyorokotor fishing settlement in Andoni. At first, people thought it was a Sword Fish, but research later revealed that it was a Blue Marlin.
Some of the animals that have been seen in the Andoni local government area of Rivers State are rare in Nigeria, this means that the area is naturally blessed. The government should invest there to attract tourists from all over the world. This would boost the nation’s economy and also preserve some endangered species of animals in the area.
