On Saturday, Punch reported that a group of suspected IPOB gunmen suffered heavy casualties when they attacked the convoy of a Joint team of security forces in Idemili South of Anambra State. Today, Channels TV has revealed more details about the incident which happened on Friday
In a video shared by Channels TV, The troops who were carrying out a peaceful ‘Show of Force’ exercise ahead of the governorship election scheduled to take place on the 6th of November, came under attack by suspected IPOB gunmen at Nnobi junction, however, they showed outstanding gallantry as they were able to neutralize 4 of their attackers while the rest fled with gunshot wounds
