The choice of a suitable meat is always a problem for people battling with high blood pressure and diabetes. This is because when you have these ailments, you are discouraged from eating red meat because of saturated fats in them.

5. Lean meat.

Some portions of meat in beef and other red meat qualify to be called lean meat. They qualify as good meat and may be taken in moderation. A lean meat is that portion that has its fat content removed.

By definition it should have not more than 10 percent total fats and saturated fats content must not exceed 4.5 percent.
