BANDITS REPORTEDLY KILL EIGHT IN KATSINA COMMUNITIES (PHOTOS)

Armed bandits have reportedly killed eight persons in two communities in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

It was gathered that bandits attacked Sabon Bilbis community on Friday morning, April 9 and killed four youths.

PUNCH reported that bandits also stormed Yar Marafa Village, in Yar Malami ward on Saturday night, April 10, and started shooting sporadically, killing four persons.

It was learnt that the gunmen stormed the village when residents were about to retire to bed in the night.  

Residents gave the names of the victims as Alhaji Lawal Damfuge, Samaila Namoali, Musdafa Senior and Ado Lafate.

Although details surrounding the attack in Bilbis community were still sketchy, two residents, Umar Lawal and Alh Murtala Ibrahim posted photos of the four youths killed by the bandits. 

Acording to Murtala Ibrahim, the body one of the deceased identified as Inusa, was found in the forest on Saturday April 10. 

The victims have been buried according to Islamic rites.
