The highly rated Power of 1 movie attracted high profile personalities in entertainment and politics to cinema hang outs held across cinemas in the Lagos and Benin.
Political aspirants Dr Oby Ezekwesili and Fela Durotoye kept aside any political differences and partisanship to see the movie everyone has been buzzing about at Grand Cinemas Chevron Drive Lekki on Saturday January 12, 2019. Other hangout hosts were entertainment stars Terry G, Klint Da Drunk, Andre Blaze, joined by celebrity guests Kel, Lami Philips and Power of 1 producers 2Baba, Efe Omorogbe and Helen Emoh Abutu.
Since it’s cinema debut on the 28th of December 2018 ‘Power of 1’ has received great reviews by media and movie lovers. The Izu Ojukwu directed movie has been praised for it’s attention to detail and standard in picture and audio quality. However, for most, the storyline and message is why the movie has become their favourite Nollywood movie released in 2018. Reactions after the last scene are usually applause and tears.
‘Power of 1’ is a social re-engineering campaign that challenges young Nigerians to embrace the responsibility of fixing Nigeria one challenge at a time.
Supported by the 2Baba Foundation, One Voice Nigeria, Enough is Enough, and Vote Not Fight, the campaign is driven through concerts, road shows and a movie of the same title directed by Izu Ojukwu starring Ramsey Nouah, Alexx Ekubo, Annie Idibia, Jibola Dabo, Jide Kosoko, Racheal Oniga, Michelle Dede, Padita Agu and many more.
