Following the sudden death of popular multi-talented media girl, Tosyn Bucknor; families, friends, colleagues, and fans from across the world on Wednesday November 28th, 2018, gathered together at a service of songs and night of tributes held in her honour at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, to give their tributes while eulogizing the media icon.
The event which was anchored by comedian Tee A and Chigurl had in attendance Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu, Banky W, Falz, Kate Henshaw, Debola Lagos, Alibaba, Fela and Tara Durotoye amongst other dignitaries that cuts across all sectors. It was quite an emotional evening for a lot of the guests present, even Tosyn’s little niece was not left out as she wept for her beloved aunt intermittently.
The family of the late Nigerian media star, had announced November 28th and 29th as dates for her service of songs and funeral.
Her only sister and renowned events planner, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, had earlier in the week shared the details on her Instagram page.
Tosyn’s remains would on Thursday be committed to mother earth at a private ceremony after the funeral service at Harvesters International Christian Centre, Lekki, Lagos State.
