Nigerian international and Chelsea full-back, Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina has completed a permanent transfer to Torino after the Serie A side exercised the option to sign him and will pay £8.7million.
The defender, 22, born in London to Nigerian parents was rewarded with the deal for his impressive contribution to the club having made 30 appearances last season.
Before his loan to the Italian club, Chelsea included the option for Torino to buy Aina last summer.
Torino president Urbano Cairo today revealed the deal is done.He told Sky Italia: ‘We exercised our option to buy Aina, as well as [Christian] Ansaldi and [Koffi] Djidji. Now Torino own all their players.’
Chelsea also confirmed his departure in a statement: “Everyone at Chelsea Football Club would like to thank Ola for his services and we wish him the best of luck for the next stage in his career,” a statement read
