Former Arsenal striker, Kanu Nwankwo, has reacted to the shocking death of ex-teammate, Jose Antonio Reyes.
Reyes, 35, was killed in a car crash this morning (read here). Reyes died in a tragic accident recorded at 11:40 am on the A-376 motorway, from Seville to Utrera on Saturday. Spanish club, Sevilla confirmed his death.
The news of his death left football players, fottball lovers and fans shocked and tributes have been pouring in.
Mourning him, Kanu Nwankwo shared a photo of them together and wrote on Instagram: “I am devastated by this sad news, Reyes was a gentleman. May his soul rest in peace. @arsenal #arsenal #coyg #premierleague #spain #london #rip”
Reyes was a member of Arsenal’s invincible team of 2004 that had the likes of Thiery Henry, Fredrick Ljunberg and Kanu Nwankwo.
