Several Nigerians are aspiring to become the next president of Nigeria come 2023 but only one person will emerge at the end of the day. Political parties all over Nigeria have conducted their primary elections and put forward their candidates.
As slated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the submission of names of party flagbearers is supposed to end today, 9th June.
The ruling party which is the All Progressive Congress, APC has put forth their candidate in the person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu while the foremost opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has Atiku Abubakar.
Other parties also have some prominent names and I have come across a comprehensive list.
The candidates are:
Prince Malik Ado-Ibrahim (YPP)
Omoyele Sowore (AAC)
Peter Obi (LP)
Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (NNPP)
Prince Adewole Adebayo (SDP)
Kola Abiola ( PRP)
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu (APC)
Atiku Abubakar (PDP)
You can drop a candidate that I failed to mention in the comment section if you have an idea. We all wish for a vibrant and productive president to emerge come, 2023.
