Osinbajo Speaks On Betraying Tinubu Over 2023 Presidency.
The 2023 Presidential aspirant (Yemi Osinbajo) has said that he owes nobody any allegiance.
Yemi Osinbajo revealed he owes no single individual any allegiance outside his oath of office and the allegiance he swore to Nigerians when he came into office in 2015.

He equally disclosed this during his political consultations in Ogun State on Tuesday.
While addressing his followers, Osinbajo said that after all he has learnt, if called upon to serve the nation, he won’t say no to the calls.

The House of Representatives’ Committee on Public Accounts has vowed to ensure accountability on the capital allowances granted to MTN Nigeria by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment amounting to N2.6 trillion.

The Chief Whip of the Senate (Orji Uzor-Kalu) has revealed that he did not drop his 2023 presidential ambition, as reported by some sections of the media.
Kalu revealed that he would contest the presidential ticket of the All Progressive Congress if the party zone it to the South-East.

Kalu who cleared the air over a statement he released on Tuesday, maintained that equity demanded that the South East should be supported to get the presidential ticket of the APC.

A governorship aspirant in Ebonyi (Senator Obinna Ogba) has disclosed that he is contesting for the governorship of Ebonyi State to give the people of the state freedom as according to him the people are presently living in fear and bondage.
Ogba who is aspiring on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, also revealed that he would also provide security for the people within the state.

Some traders in Computer Village, Ikeja, Lagos, are protesting the killing of a fellow trader, Chikere Obieshi, by a security operative belonging to the Mobile Police Unit, popularly known as Mopol.

The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, has said that the security situation in Nigeria would have been worse if not for the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Ayade, who was saying this while addressing pressmen after meeting with the president at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Tuesday, commended the president’s understanding of international and local security challenges, adding that he was able to suppress banditry and Boko Haram insurgency.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said he served all his principals with utmost loyalty during their difficult moments.
Daily Post recalls that Osinbajo was the Attorney General of Lagos State when Bola Tinubu was the governor, from 1999 to 2007.
Presently, he is the second-in-command to President Muhammadu Buhari, who chose him as his running mate in 2015 and 2019.
INEC Begins Distribution Of PVCs In Lagos

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Lagos State has commenced the distribution of over 33,000 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for newly registered voters in the state.
Mr Olusegun Agbaje, the Resident Electoral Commissioner made this known on Wednesday in Lagos.
Agbaje told newsmen while handing over PVCs to registered voters at INEC offices in Somolu and Kosofe local government areas that the PVCs were for those who registered between June 2021 and Dec. 2021.
