One of such successes could be seen in the recent apprehension of some of these Boko Haram food suppliers in Borno State and the recovery of not less than 6 million Naira in cash, according to a verified publication
It is important to note that such may not have been possible, if not for certain actions done by both the masses and the authorities, as it will be discussed in this article.
One of such was the active and quick response from the masses in relaying the information to the authorities. Overtime, the federal government of Nigeria has repeatedly stressed on how the people have a lot to play in the fight against terrorism and other forms of criminality.
This could be seen where some farmers reportedly informed the authorities over constantly sighting a truck conveying food to an unknown destination during the evening hours.

The masses who have a higher chance of spotting any illegal or suspicious activities more than the authorities did not give ‘deaf ears’ to the act, and in the bid to end the attacks by these terrorists expressed their support with the authorities and gave such a vital information.
Furthermore, one would not be wrong to add that the proactive measure of the authorities which was storming the spot on time where these trucks do convey these food items to the terrorists at the evening hours to intercept them was pivotal in apprehending these food suppliers.
The authorities, on their part, showed how active they are in following any report by the masses. This was quite a huge part that ensured these food suppliers were apprehended, as they could rather have escaped if the authorities did not arrive at the venue on time.
Such also allows for an active gunfight against these terrorists who fled, leaving these food suppliers in the hands of the authorities, who quickly arrested them.
