Nigeria was amalgamated by Sir Lord Lugard in 1914 which made the Northern and Southern protectorate came together as one. For over hundred years now, we have all been living as one in Nigeria, despite the security challenges currently bedeviling some parts of the country. Some men of God have played a huge role in uniting the country by discouraging secession as they revealed what God told them about the country.
The pastors who said Nigeria will not divide and the reasons they gave:
1. Pastor Emmanuel Omale

The renowned man of God gave a prophecy that Nigeria will never divide despite the challenges the country is currently facing. In his words, Pastor Omale said he saw Jesus in a vision who told him Nigeria will not divide, and that Nigeria will become one strong Nation that will feed the whole world.
The Reason He Gave
Pastor Omale said the reason why Nigeria will not divide is because God Himself is not in support of it and that he told him that those who are clamoring for division will be defeated. He also said that no matter the heat, there won’t be any war.
2. Pastor Kumuyi

The General Overseer of Deeper Life Ministries, Pastor Kumuyi also said Nigeria will never divide and that if God could show Mercy on Egypt and other countries, there is still hope for Nigeria.
The Reason He Gave
Pastor Kumuyi said that the reason Nigeria will not divide is because the country is not a mistake and that God that brought us this far will not abandon us.
3. Pastor Poju Oyemade

Pastor Poju Oyemade is one of those who also spoke against division. He told those who are calling for secession that they are wasting their time.
The Reason He Gave
Pastor Poju Oyemade said that before God does anything in a nation, he calls his people and that if he finds an intercessor among those doing evil, he will look away from the judgment without bringing judgment.
