A 24-year-old man has confessed to the killing of his aunt in Calabar.
According to reports, this young man butchered his aunt and buried her head inside a pit he dug in his room. This suspect has been identified by the name Christian Edem Eyo. Below is a picture showing this suspect:
The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday in Calabar. Shortly after the suspect killed the deceased, Uduak Akpan, he buried her remains in a shallow grave in the compound.
When the suspect got questioned by Journalists, he admitted that he committed the crime. He said he killed his aunt after she tried to seduce him.
He said that the pit and grave in his room where he buried the head of his victim are for empowerment.
The Suspect is currently in police custody as more investigations are ongoing. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace.
