Bayern Muinch have advanced to the final of the Club World Cup after beating Al Ahly 2-0 on Monday night, February 8, at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.
FIFA player of the year, Robert Lewandowski scored a brace to send his side through, firing home from close range in the first half before converting at the back post from Leroy Sane’s cross for his second five minutes from time.
Bayern coached by Hansi Flick men were not at their best, but were clinical when they needed to be, and put the Egyptian side to the sword.
Bayern will now take on Tigres in the Club World Cup final on Thursday, while Al Ahly will face Palmeiras in the third-place playoff on the same day.
