Mother of a 22-year-old man identified as Daibo Toju Davies who plunged into the lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos over the weekend has revealed that her son was looking forward to his Master’s programme in Canada before the incident.
The grieving mum in an interview with Channels TV said her son had just graduated from the Lagos State University, Department of Quantity Surveying.
She said he never had any history of depression or drug abuse.
She further appealed to the Lagos State Government to find her son alive or dead.
Davies jumped into the Lagoon after asking the driver of an Uber car he had hired to stop on the Third Mainland Bridge. Then, he plunged into the water down below, to commit suicide.
His body has not been found since the incident around 10am on 16 February.
