Nigeria defender Jamilu Collins hopes to score more goals for German club, SC Paderborn after netting a wonder strike in the side’s 3-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich on Saturday, reports Completesports.com.
Collins’ goal six minutes from time was just a consolation as champions Bayern Munich picked maximum points in the game.
It was the left-back first ever goal for Paderborn who are still searching for their first win of the season and are bottom of the table with one point from six games.
Gnabry, Phillipe Coutinho and Robert Lewandowski were on target for Bayern Munich for the game, while Kai Proger got Paderborn’s other goal.
“This was the toughest game of my career,” Collins’ told Deutsche Welle.
“I tried it in the first half, but the ball went wide.
“But I really wanted to score.”
On whether there’re more strikes like this in his locker, the Nigerian added, “We will see. There’s more to come.”
