Robert Mugabe, former Zimbabwean president is dead.
This was confirmed by the official Twitter handle of Emmerson Mnangagwa, President of Zimbabwe.
“It is with the utmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former President, Cde Robert Mugabe (1/2),” Mnangagwa tweeted.
Mugabe died at the age of 95.
He was prime minister of Zimbabwe from 1980 to 1987.
He became president in 1987 till he was ousted out by the military in 2017.
