HERDSMEN ABDUCTED US TO FUND COST OF BULLETS USED IN OPERATIONS – CHIEMELA IROHA, ONE OF THE RESCUED FIVE KIDNAP VICTIMS

Son of late James Iroha (Gregory stage name) of the New Masquerade fame, Chiemela Iroha, has revealed that he was abducted alongside 4 others by suspected Fulani herdsmen at Lagos – Ore expressway to fund the cost of bullets they used in operations.

Recounting being humiliated, tortured and forced to embark on a drudgery 30km walk into the forest, Iroha said the suspected kidnappers who fled their hideout after Police surveillance helicopter hovered repeatedly across the area where they were kept, abducted them to pay for the cost of bullets expended on a high profile target that escaped. He also thanked the Police, local vigilante group and hunters over their unrelenting effort that led to their release.

Speaking to newsmen after the five kidnap victims Chidioze Eluwa, Okoro Ohowukwe, Ndubuizi Owuabueze, Chiemela Iroha and Ibeleji Chidinma regained their freedom, Ogun State Police Commissioner Baahir Makama debunked claims of all the victims being Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastors.  The Nation reported that Makama said only Deaconness Ibeleji Chidinma is an RCCG member.
