The Delta state police command have arrested a woman, Agatha Raymond, for allegedly assaulting her 10-year-old step brother, Chibuzor Onuwa Obusele, with hot knife.

Yesterday 18/06/2019, our attention was drawn to a case of Child abuse/Grievous bodily harm against a 10year old boy (Chibuzor Onuwa Obusele) who lives with his step sister Mrs. Agatha Raymond. The complaint was reported via Instagram by a concerned Nigerian.

In company of BBI Director General Gwamnishu Harrison, BBI Delta State Director, Iyke Omenogor and BBI Delta State Director of Investigation King Melvin, We quickly launched investigation and reported the case to the Police. The 15 year old victim said Mrs. Agatha who is a mother of two children and his step sister usually torture him with a knife she heat-up with fire and burn his body anytime she’s angry with him.

Today 19/06/2019 at about 07:00am, BBI facilitated the arrest of Mrs. Agatha Raymond, she’s currently detained at Okpanam Divisional Police Station.

Abuse and neglect hit kids hard and abused children are in no shape to defend their rights. BBI and other passionate Nigerians are always here to stand in the gap and represent their interest. #FreeService
